Banks and insurers may find these resources helpful for understanding impact management practices and standards:   The Naming and Classification of Sustainability Topics in the Context of Impact Management: An analytical review. The paper also makes recommendations aimed at standard-setters and providers of impact management resources to improve coherence and interoperability.   Industry Classifications in the Context of Impact Management Uses, challenges and recommendations.    Find out more about the reviews and the new phase of the Platform here.   Sign up for UNEP FI events in your region   28 April | Nature Finance Forum Europe 2025 | Paris, France  Taking place the day before the Sustainable Investment Forum Europe, the Nature Finance Forum will help catalyse capital flows to nature-positive markets and projects by bringing institutional investors with specialist nature funds together with corporations developing investable, nature-regenerative solutions.    29 April | Sustainable Investment Forum Europe 2025 | Paris, France  The 8th Annual Sustainable Investment Forum Europe returns to Paris at the Pullman Montparnasse on 29 April 2025. Hosted by Climate Action in partnership with UNEP FI, the forum will bring together over 400 banks, insurers and investors to help shape the future of Europe’s economy for a just, net-zero, and nature-positive economy.    6-7 May | Africa & Middle East Regional Roundtable 2025 | Marrakech, Morocco   This event will play a crucial role in shaping the sustainable finance agenda in Africa and the Middle East, and driving the transition toward a greener, more just economy in the region.    Save the date: 18-20 | June Asia Pacific Regional Roundtable 2025 | Suzhou, China  This Roundtable will play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable finance across the Asia Pacific region, accelerating the transition to a net-zero and just economy in the region.    Event Summary & Recordings | UNEP FI Global Roundtable 2024  The UNEP FI Global Roundtable took place in December 2024, gathering 450+ members, 100+ speakers from 20+ countries, and 1,600+ daily livestream viewers. It offers a tailored online education and training programme to support bankers worldwide in aligning their professional practice, strategies, operations, and decision-making with sustainability goals and to identify opportunities. Supported by good practices and practical examples, the course deep dives into the ISSB Standards, evolution of climate risk reporting from the TCFD framework, and comparison with other disclosure frameworks and regulatory standards. New resources for financial institutions Online Resource | Human Rights Toolkit for Financial Institutions   The revamped Human Rights Toolkit for Financial Institutions is a comprehensive, step-by-step tool designed to help financial institutions align their business practice with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
