Let's connect to drive positive change. The final G20 declaration successfully integrates 15 out of 24 recommendations from the Business 20 (B20 Brasil) private sector engagement group. Under the theme "Social Inclusion and the Fight Against Hunger and Poverty," nine recommendations were fully embraced. Similarly, four recommendations under "Sustainable Development, Energy Transitions, and Climate Action" were fully considered. In terms of "Reform of Global Governance Institutions," two recommendations were fully aligned with the final G20 document. Seven other recommendations were partially accepted, while only two were not referenced in the final document of the world's largest economies, which convened on November 18-19 in Rio de Janeiro. The five strategical points women20 would like to underline for the G20

  The Women 20 website can be found here. First . We should change the perspective avoiding a defensive approach on the inclusion of women, of small steps. Women are not disadvantaged people to include. They are half of the world. We should adopt the challenging vision of women’s empowerment. In the full meaning, of self-affirmation at all levels, even, but not only in in decision-making roles. In education it is necessary to eliminate the barriers to entry in certain areas (Stem), and remove all obstacles to women entering and remaining in the labour market. Positive actions and gender procurement measures must be adopted by governments. This means that in the public procurement, reward scores will have to be introduced for companies that have a greater presence of women in high decision-making levels. Preparing for the Italian G20 Civil Society Proposed Priorities 2021

Civil 20 (C20) is one of the official Engagement Groups of the G20. It provides a platform of Civil Society Organizations around the world to bring forth the political dialogue with the G20. The Civil 20 process involves a wide variety of organizations and networks far beyond the G20 countries and it is structured around the C20 Guiding Principles. The C20 is organized in thematic Working Groups with two co-facilitators, one from the host country and one from the international civil society. The Steering Committee leads the process, supported by the International Advisory Committee. The civil society from the host country chairs the overall process. Within the Steering Committee, the current, previous and following G20/C20 host countries gathered in the Troika facilitate the international coordination.
