Event Description:
If you’re curious about the path to publishing non-fiction, this is your chance to learn more. In this session, we’re hosting Felix Dodds, Adjunct Professor at the Water Institute, University of North Carolina, and Associate Fellow at the Tellus Institute, Boston. Felix wrote and co-wrote several publications and will share his vast knowledge and experience regarding his journey to publication.
Felix will walk us through his approach to publishing, including:
- Developing a book proposal that captures publisher interest;
- Collaborating with co-authors and managing the writing process;
- Fact-finding, references, and footnotes: ensuring accuracy in non-fiction;
- Proofreading and refining a manuscript for publication.
After the presentation, we’ll open the floor to questions.
Whether you're an aspiring or a seasoned writer, this session will provide valuable lessons on turning research and ideas into published work.
If you're interested, consider joining InterNations - it's free to join and attend group meetings.
