What to do when relaxing - go to the Gilmore Girls Convention :-)

I just had a wonderful weekend in Stare Hollow (New Milford CN) at the Gilmore Girls' Weekend in the Life celebration.

I had the chance to visit the inspiration for the Independence Inn, a few miles away in Washington CN. The Mayflower Inn and Spa is a great place for dinner and a coffee (of course). This is where Amy Sherman-Palladino had stayed and was inspired to create the Indpendence Inn for the Gilmore Girls.


The weekend had some great meet-and-greets with seven of the stars from Gilmore Girls. In addition to Luke, I had the chance to meet Michel (Yanic Truesdale), who will star in Amy's new TV series about to start called Etoile on the 24th of April on Amazon Prime 

"The drama follows the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies — one in New York, one in Paris — as they take on an ambitious plan to save their storied institutions: swapping their most talented stars. The eight-episode season will debut as a binge release." Hollywood Reporter. As well as Gilmore Girls Amy also wrote and produced ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’.


The weekend had panels with the stars from the show and trivia events. I only managed 28 right answers out of 50!!! 


We had the chance to vote who Rory should be with - clearly it's Jess.


I really enjoyed the panels - insights into the actors and their charaacters.


They plan the next one for the 12-14 September and already have Max Medina (Scott Cohen) confirmed .
