29th-31st March: Arab Regional Forum for Sustainable Development input to the 2021 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) - focusing on SDG 1 (no poverty); SDG 2 (zero hunger); SDG 3 (good health and well-being); SDG 8 (decent work and economic growth); SDG 10 (reduced inequalities); SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production); SDG 13 (climate action); SDG 16 (peace, justice and strong institutions): and SDG 17 (partnerships)

APRIL

5-11th April: Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund

7-8th April: G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting - the G20 in 2021 will be held under the themes of People, Planet, Prosperity

22nd April: US Climate Summit held on Earth Day


26th-30th April: UN Forum on Forests (UNFF 16)

27th April: Thematic Debate on Digital Cooperation and Connectivity

3rd May: ECOSOC Partnership Forum  focuses on how partnerships can best advance the sustainable development agenda and the 17 SDGs.

4th-5th May: Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum)

4th May: G20 Tourism Ministers meeting

6th-7th MayUN Development Cooperation Forum focuses on 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda on financing for development

20th May: UN High-level Dialogue on Desertification, Land Degradation and Drought (new date)

21st May: UN High Level Event on Culture and Sustainable Development  (new event)

31st May - 10th June: UNFCCC Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) - preparation for Glasgow UNFCCC COP
