The Katerva Awards, considered the pinnacle of global sustainability recognition, are given to individuals, enterprises and organizations whose innovations create not just 1 or 2% change, but have the potential to immeasurably shift the way business, consumption, lifestyle, and efficiency work to eradicate some of society’s most pressing issues. With 10 award categories that correspond to the primary fields in which sustainability must emerge, Katerva has set a course to scale the initiatives that will most dramatically and positively impact sustainability on our planet right now and for the next millennium; the categories are: Behavioral Change, Economy, Energy & Power, Food Security, Gender Equality, Human Develop, Materials & Resources, Ecosystem Conservation, Transportation, and Urban Design.
