Sharing it with him seemed a kindness. <br /><br />After a few episodes I was so disappointed by Clarkson's attitude especially that I haven't watched it since. He was just a bully. <br /><br />It's an attitude that characterised the presenters' interplay: their deprecation of others got the biggest laughs and their internal rivalry was measured by who insulted the others the most devastatingly. Since then, the BBC has enabled Clarkson to travel all over the world and gather in all sorts of folk to participate in the big joke. <br /><br />He says he was bullied as a child and it seems like he is still acting out in response. <br /><br />It's like the audience says, "Oh, c'mon! This is my one indulgence in vicarious laddish hooliganism."
